We look forward to meeting you and want to make sure your experience at Allergy & Asthma Associates is nothing short of excellent. Please read through the information below to help you get ready for your first visit to our office.

Scheduling an Appointment

To schedule an appointment, please call our office during business hours. You can also email us with your preferred date and time, and a receptionist will get back to you shortly to confirm availability.

Your initial visit will include a detailed medical history assessment, physical examination, and testing if necessary. Allergy skin testing may give poor results if antihistamines are in your system. Please read these Important Instructions in Preparation for Skin Testing for a list of medications that should be held prior to your visit. Pulmonary function testing may also be performed to assess your respiratory status. Please attempt to avoid any inhaler medications on the morning of your appointment as outlined here. If you are unsure of which medications to avoid or are not able to discontinue your medications, please call our office to discuss your options.

Typically, an office visit with us will last 1-2 hours. Please arrive at our office 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to ensure time for registration paperwork. To expedite this process, you can also download the new patient registration forms, which can be returned via email/fax or can be presented prior to your visit. Allergy & Asthma Associates has two convenient locations in Manalapan and Red Bank. Please visit our contact page for directions and hours.


Insurance Network Participation

To better serve our patients, Allergy & Asthma Associates participates in most major insurance plans. See below for an updated list of the insurance networks we participate in. If you don't see your plan listed, please contact your insurance company to verify our participation. All insurance referrals are the patient’s responsibility. Our office will bill both primary and secondary insurance, as indicated. Please bring your insurance card and a photo identification card with you on the day of your appointment. Without these items, our office will be unable to bill your insurance directly.
